After our unusually rainy winter, we welcome Spring with open arms. Seasonal changes is the visual concept behind Seasons, a new exhibit presented by The Arts Council of Conejo Valley, “the Voice of the Arts." This new show is hanging in the Galleria at Hillcrest Center for the Arts, where it will remain through April 22. There will be an Artists’ Reception on Saturday, March 30, 4-6 pm. The public is invited and there is no fee for admission.
Nine outstanding and professional artists are showing diverse and unusual works of art, all reflective of the four seasons. Works of art range in size from small and intimate to
large, oversized pieces. Media featured in Seasons are photography, fabric art, paintings in watercolor, oils, acrylics, colored pencils, and mixed media.
In this invitational show artists from Thousand Oaks are Jim Doolittle, Pamela Fong, Sarah Hart, Roland Roy, and Linda Shaner; Agoura Hills, Maxee Artist; Moorpark, Carol Roullard; Camarillo, Diane Hanley; and Santa Paula artist, Dorothy Orr. This exhibit was planned by Arts Council of Conejo Valley Co-Curators John Johnson, Camarillo, and Connie Tunick, Thousand Oaks.
