Taken Words Series
Words form the architecture
I constantly search for phrases, sayings and quotes; verbal tidbits that strike me as funny or fascinating or true. These found or stolen words are painted over and over on a carefully prepared surface. The composition develops in the leftover shapes and intersections.
In the end, the words are nearly obscured but the story shimmers in the remaining spaces.
