The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley proudly presents a collage, mixed media group exhibit by the Collage Lab of the Buenaventura Arts Council. This exhibit celebrates the 100th anniversary of Womens' Suffrage, and it will hang in the Galleria at Hillcrest Center for the Arts located at 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. Dates of this timely show are October 16 through December 18, 2020. Due to County restrictions the Hillcrest Center and the Galleria are not currently open to the public. Exhibit Coordinator is Joyce Lombard and the nine Ventura artists in this exhibit are Janet Black, Karen L. Brown, Virginia Buckle, Tasia Erickson, Karen Hoffberg, Joyce Lombard, Darlene Roker, Mary Kolada Scott and Janna Valenzuela.
The Collage Lab is composed of printmakers, painters, quilters, photographers, weavers, stone sculptors, graphic designers, encaustic painters, watercolorists – you name it. The creativity and experimental attitude makes for an engaging and unusual exhibit of collage that is timely.
