Mission Statement of the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley (ACCV)
"The Voice of the Arts"

The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley (ACCV) is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive arts community by supporting, promoting, and advocating for artists and arts organizations throughout the region. Established in 1969, ACCV has evolved into a dynamic membership organization that champions both emerging and established artists across visual and performing arts.

Through strategic partnerships with the City of Thousand Oaks, the Conejo Recreation and Park District, and the Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD), we work to enhance cultural development and provide accessible opportunities for artistic expression. Our close ties with the Hillcrest Center for the Arts ensure that local arts organizations have the resources they need to thrive, including marketing support, educational workshops, and access to performance and gallery spaces.
We are committed to nurturing the next generation of artists through impactful scholarship programs such as Hang with the Best and the Richard & Elaine Williams Legacy Scholarship, while expanding public engagement through initiatives like the Conejo Cottontail Project and our annual Summer Open Show. By collaborating with institutions such as California Lutheran University (CLU) and community partners like UBS, we create opportunities for artists to showcase their work and connect with broader audiences.

As The Voice of the Arts, ACCV continues to champion cultural enrichment, artistic excellence, and creative innovation, ensuring that the Conejo Valley remains a thriving hub for the arts today and for generations to come.
