As we approach the 2026-2027 term, the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley (ACCV) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. This is an opportunity for passionate leaders within our community to help shape the future of the arts in the Conejo Valley. Currently, we are currently looking to the role of Treasurer on our board:
TREASURER
The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley (ACCV) is seeking a dedicated and community-minded individual to serve as Treasurer on our Board of Directors.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting arts, culture, public art, and arts education throughout Thousand Oaks and the Conejo Valley, ACCV plays a vital role in enriching our community. We are looking for a Treasurer who is passionate about the arts and committed to strong financial stewardship.
Position Overview
The Treasurer serves as the chief financial officer of the Board and provides oversight of the organization’s financial health, transparency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Provide financial oversight for ACCV operations and programs

Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the Board

Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance

Assist in the development of the annual operating budget

Ensure proper financial controls and nonprofit best practices

Oversee bank accounts, deposits, and financial recordkeeping
-
Coordinate preparation and filing of required state and federal forms (including IRS Form 990)
-
Support grant tracking and reporting requirements

Work closely with the President and Board on strategic financial planning

Participate in Board meetings and key ACCV events
Preferred Qualifications
-
Background in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or nonprofit financial management

Familiarity with 501(c)(3) regulations and reporting requirements

Experience with budgeting and financial reporting

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Commitment to supporting the arts in our community
